An Introduction to Home Defense
A basic defensive shotgun course for
the first-time shotgun owner, or sportsman
interested in defensive shotgun technique.
The class focus is primarily safe and effective
shotgun handling in stressful, defensive situations
commonly encountered by the armed citizen.
Students should expect to gain competency and
confidence in shotgun use, and retain at least a
basic functional skill level. Subjects include
safe handling, ammunition and shotgun basics,
loading, shooting in multiple positions, carry
techniques, and general tactics in defensive
shotgun use.
Equipment Needed For The Course
A functioning shotgun, pump or simi-automatic
50 Rounds of #8 or #9 shot
Comfortable clothing (no open toe shoes
or tank tops).
